Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore to Keynote March 23rd Stand for Natural Marriage at TX State Capitol
Texas State Capitol on March 23rd

Justice Moore will be the keynote speaker at a gathering to Preserve Traditional Marriage scheduled for Monday, March 23rd at 1:00 pm on the south steps of the Texas Capitol.

The Texas Legislature can follow the lead of the Alabama Supreme Court by taking a bold stand FOR Biblical marriage in Texas. This will send a forceful message to the federal courts and to our fellow Texans about the legislature's commitment to maintain the moral integrity of our culture in Texas.

In the November 8, 2005 General Election, the citizens of Texas passed, by an overwhelming margin of 76% to 24%, a Marriage Amendment to the Texas Constitution, Article 1, Section 32, which provides that "Marriage in this state shall consist only of the union of one man and one woman."

It's time to rise up for God's truth about marriage

This issue is not about discrimination as the homosexuals would have you believe. Rather, it is about whether our culture is going to redefine marriage, which would cause the homosexual lifestyle to be legally accepted and affirmed, even celebrated.

Please join the army that is forming to fight for God-ordained, natural marriage and to encourage your fellow Christians to do likewise. The Texas Legislature and state legislatures around the country can stop the federal courts' encroachment based upon our antecedent, unalienable rights and on the powers reserved to the States and the People to determine marriage.

State Rep. Cecil Bell has introduced HB 623, the Preservation of State Sovereignty and Marriage Act, which would ban Texas civil servants from issuing a
'same-gender marriage' license. HB 623, below, would prohibit any state or local government employee from issuing a 'same-gender marriage' license. Senator Charles Perry has authored the companion bill in the Texas Senate, SB 673.

We must take a bold stand for Biblical marriage in Texas and send a forceful message to the Federal Government and the U.S. Supreme Court that we are fully committed to preserving the moral integrity of our culture in Texas by standing for the Texas Marriage Amendment.
